As soon as we entered the main waiting room, we were directed to go to one of the windows, where my fiancee had to show her letter from the consulate. Then we were asked to take a seat, where there were over 100 people already waiting for various visas. After a long wait, we were called to a second window, where we presented them with my fiancee's passport and several other documents. Then we were asked to sit again. Finally, the third call came for us, and we were summoned to a third window (in the same room), where the CO gave us a quick interview (when did we meet, how many times have we visited, etc.). After about 10 minutes of questioning, she approved my fiancee's K-1 Visa. YAY! Total time, about 3 hours.

They asked him to wait and let the people in for greencards 1st. Louis went in at 8:30am for 9am appointment..security check...take # and went to next building. Went to counter and submitted medical records. Waited for name called .. only minutes later. Asked for passport, ID. Then sit again...few minutes again..another window, "main interview" gave up paperwork, fingerprints. Asked if been to US, married, kids? Asked who I was to him. Asked if we had met each others family and how we got to know each other ** I feel like she asked these questions because the letter I wrote explaining how we met and what kinds of things we did together and the fact that he met my mom and aunt and I met almost all of his family we detailed *** then said application looks good, congrats and do you have any questions. 3 hours total from the time he got i... read complete review
